SAD EYES nace por la necesidad de Santi Gzlez, guitarrista de REX DEVS, de liberar, mediante el metal extremo, todas las frustraciones, sentimientos, vivencias, inquietudes y emociones acumuladas. Equilibrar la rabia y la desolación mediante una expresión musical contundente, extrema y melódica al mismo tiempo. Todo ello plasmado en una obra conceptual de siete capítulos. Un diario, una semana. Un ciclo vital repetido hasta la saciedad en la asfixiante existencia de un individuo cualquiera. Una expresión musical de metal extremo en la que cada oyente puede verse indentificado.

This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
